Taster and Have a Go sessions

If you’d like to experience archery for the first time, or would like to give an archery experience as a gift, we run taster and ‘have a go’ sessions throughout the year. All equipment is provided.

Please note, attendees must be aged 9 years or over and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

Beginners’ Courses

If you think Archery is for you (maybe you took part in a Taster or Have a Go session?),  you can attend a Beginners’ Course.

The Beginners’ Course comprises seven, two hour sessions and introduces you to the sport of Archery, teaches you how to handle a bow safely with the objective of achieving a certificate of competence by the end of the course (and hopefully a gold or two). All equipment is provided and tuition is by experienced archers (more than 100 years’ experience between them!).

Please note, attendees must be aged 9 years or over and under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.

  • 2nd May 2020 (outdoors)

£60 each for adults, £50 each for under-18s
