Always wanted to try archery? Interested in starting new hobby or sport? Need to complete a physical activity as part of your Duke of Edinburgh award? Want to buy someone a unique present?
Join us in May for a seven session Archery Beginners’ Course where you’ll be taught all you need to know to start your journey with the sport, including shooting technique, etiquette and safety.
Open to adults and under-18s aged nine and above.
• All equipment provided.
• Sessions run and supervised by experienced archers (over 100 years’ experience between them!).
• Certificate upon satisfactory course completion
Course dates: Saturdays 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd May and Tuesdays 5th, 12th, 19th May (plus 26th May in reserve for bad weather etc). Saturday sessions run 2:00pm – 4:00pm, Tuesday sessions run 6:30pm – 8:00pm. You must attend all sessions to pass the course.
The course will run on the grounds adjacent to the old Cricket Pavillion at Mickleover Country Park, DE3 0UJ.
£60 per adult, £50 each for under-18s.

We aim to cater for everyone interested in the sport. Therefore, prior to the course please make us aware of any disabilities or medical conditions you have which may affect your ability to shoot.
We’ll be running an indoor taster session on the evening of 24th January 2020 where you can learn the basics from some of our most experienced archers.
The session will be held at our indoor venue in Allestree and places cost £10 each. All equipment is provided and the session will last approximately 90 minutes.
Places are limited and must be booked in advance – so please contact us to reserve a place.
